Methods by Which Enemy Morale is Attacked
Morale
Everyone has morale, in situations of life and death or even in the most arbitrary of situations. Morale has many uses as mentioned in the last subsection Correlation Between Soldier Morale and Performance Morale can lead to desertion or malingering. Both of these effects are negative when applied to friendly soldiers, however when applied to an enemy they can be beneficial.
Why use it as a weapon
The part about morale that makes it a wonderful weapon, is that its effectiveness is twofold, with high morale comes beneficial effects, lowering morale not only inflicts the negative effects but it also removes the beneficial effects of morale, leading to doubt in oneself and doubt in what is right or wrong.
How to use it as a weapon
The weapons on the right are the kind of weapons used during WWII, however given the right use of morale they all pale in comparison. Morale can be attacked by undermining what the soldiers fight for, the civilians. Anything done to reduce the civilians morale can reduce the armies morale, “the morale of the front line derives directly from the morale of the civilian population” -Creel
